The MA Department of Labor and Standards requires all contractors be licensed as a Lead Safe Renovation Contractor and have at least one certified Lead Safe Renovation Supervisor on the job site at all times when disturbing painted surfaces on pre-1978 housing and child occupied facilities.

NOTE: Companies and individuals found in violation of the MA RRP Rule are subject to fines of up to $5000.00 per violation, per day!

Companies and individuals found in violation of the EPA RRP Rule are subject to fines of up to $37,500.00 per violation, per day!

Class Description:

Course topics include:

Learn how to comply with the Mass DLS RRP Rule.
This includes the new Mass requirements since Mass took over the law on 7/9/2010.
Receive 6 Hours of class training and 2 hours of hands-on training.
Receive your Lead Safe Renovation Supervisor certification after you successfully fulfill the requirements of the course.
This training certifies you for EPA regulated states like NH, VT, ME, CT and New York.

The class includes 8 hours of interactive training concluding with a 25 question multiple choice exam. Upon passing the exam, you will receive a certificate of course completion that will comply with EPA/RRP and the Massachusetts Department of Labor Standards (DLS) requirements. The completion certificate is valid for 5 years.
