Number of CEU Credits: This course has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards for 3 hours of Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License continuing education.

Course Approval #: CS-7516
Credit Category: Three (3) hours for Building Code

Class description: In this seminar we will review several significant changes that have transpired between the IRC 2009 Code and IRC 2015 Code.  We will show you where you can quickly access this information online using the International Code Council Public Access web page for free.

Learning Objectives: By completing this class you will:

  • Identify significant differences between the 2009 IRC and the 2015 IRC.
  • Explain the differences between the current and previous edition.
  • Identify key changes in organization and code requirements
  • Know how to access ICC Codes online.

In this two-hour seminar you will learn how to use the Department of Energy Building America Solution Center website to access the many tools and how to articles published by Building Science experts.

  • How to access expert information on high-performance design and construction topics
  • How to use the Sales Tools to develop strategies that resonate with consumers
