Setting upm QuickBooks for ContractorsBusiness (1 hour):

Learn about and understand; How to get started using QuickBooks or a similar financial software program in your business. How to organize your business financials and your QuickBooks Company file so you will know whether you are making or losing money.  

Elective: Simplifying and Getting Your Bookkeeping Done (1 hour):

Simple strategy and office procedures your business can use to successfully delegate bookkeeping and QuickBooks activities to a part time bookkeeper so you can get back to work and earning more money.

OSHA for contractorsSafety (1 hour):

Learn about and understand; Ladder safety, Tool safety considerations, OSHA Fall Protection considerations, and considerations for working in hot and cold weather, Considerations when working alone.

Energy (1 hour):

Learn about and understand; Insulating considerations and product type options, vapor barriers and air barriers, R-Value and U-Value ratings and considerations, condensation causes and considerations, energy efficiency options for glass and for existing windows.

Lead (1 hour):

Learn about and understand; MA Deleading and Lead-Safe Renovation Regulations that affect your work, who needs a license and who doesn’t, worker safety considerations, lead-safe work practices that help limit the creation of dust and protect your customers.
